Motivated by a strong entrepreneurial drive,circa 1980, Mr. Gopalchary a qualified Company Secretary decided to move beyond a brief professional career and venture into business. He founded SUDARSHAN CHEM CORPN, which initially focused on chemicals indenting and was headquartered in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.

Recognising emerging opportunities and guided by a commitment to growth, Mr. Gopalchary soon expanded his interests to include sustainable packaging solutions. This strategic shift led to the creation of manufacturing units in key locations across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. His collaborative efforts with other technocrats who shared his progressive outlook laid a robust foundation for what would become an enduring legacy of innovation and expansion.

Growth and Leadership Transition

As Srichakra Corp continued to prosper, the leadership baton was passed to the next generation. Mr. Gopalchary’s elder son, Sudarshan Chary, assumed responsibility for the corrugated packaging division, PADMANABH PACKAGING. Under Sudarshan’s stewardship, the enterprise experienced consistent and significant growth, bolstering its position in the market.

In 2009, the family business welcomed a yet another member to the leadership team - Mr. Gopalchary’s younger son, Sridharan Chary. He dedicated himself to gaining a thorough understanding of manufacturing operations by under the guidance and aegis of Sudarshan. This hands-on learning enabled him to eventually take over the chemicals business, ensuring a smooth leadership transition and providing the direction necessary for the continued advancement of VARADARAJ KEMIKAL ENTERPRISES PVT. LTD.

Consolidation and Diversification

A significant milestone in Srichakra Corp’s journey emerged in late 2024, when the organisation decided to initiate the process of uniting all its business units, both in spirit and, over time, as formal legal entities. This pivotal decision marked the beginning of the idea under a unified brand, SRICHAKRA CORP, The word "Chakra"—Sanskrit for "wheel"—symbolises the founder's vision for the business: to keep moving forward with energy and enthusiasm, bringing all partners along on the journey toward progress and prosperity.

The latest phase in the family business house’s evolution is its foray into third-party logistics (3PL), facilitated through a strategic partnership with SATTVA LOGISTICS GROUP in Chennai. This move has them to access new avenues for growth by diversifying into emerging sectors, thereby enhancing its ability to make a meaningful contribution to the development of the broader economy.
